Advantages of magnetic turbo blower in ETP Plant
Blast aeration is mostly used in the treatment of sewage plants, among which Roots blowers, submersible blowers and other fans are commonly used. However, due to their efficiency and noise, sewage treatment plants have begun to use magnetic levitation centrifugal blowers.
1. Common blowers
(1) Roots blower. The Roots blower uses two leaf-shaped rotors or three leaf-shaped rotors to make relative movements in the cylinder to compress and transport gas. It has a simple structure, is convenient to manufacture, and is easy to control and maintain, but its efficiency is lower than that of the submerged blower, and the air flow is pulsating. With high noise, it is mostly used in process sections such as backwashing or gas stripping in sewage plants.
(2) Submersible blower. The sewage treatment blower adopts the aeration reoxygenation method to treat the sewage. The principle of the aeration and reoxygenation method is that a redox reaction occurs between the dissolved oxygen entering the water body and the black and odorous substances. For black and odorous rivers that have been in a state of hypoxia for a long time, it generally takes a long process to restore the water ecosystem to a normal state, and aeration and reoxygenation of the water body can help to speed up this process. The efficiency of the submersible fan is higher than that of the Roots blower, and it is mostly used for aeration in the biochemical section of the sewage plant.
2. Blower energy consumption comparison
The energy consumption of commonly used fans is Roots blower > submersible blower > magnetic levitation blower.
Due to the large amount of gas required for aeration in the biochemical section and the need for continuous operation, the energy consumption of the Roots blower is greater than that of the magnetic levitation blower. Therefore, the magnetic levitation blower is more suitable for the aeration of the biochemical section of the sewage plant than the Roots blower and the submerged water blower.
2. Maglev Centrifugal Blower
1. Principle
The magnetic levitation centrifugal blower is a kind of turbine equipment using magnetic levitation bearings. Its main structure is that the impeller of the blower is directly installed on the extension end of the motor shaft, and the rotor is suspended vertically on the active magnetic bearing controller without a speed increaser. And the shaft coupling realizes the single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower directly driven by the high-speed motor and adjusted by the frequency converter.
2. Product Features
Due to the use of magnetic suspension bearings. Its main structure is that the blower impeller is directly installed on the extension end of the click shaft, and the rotor is suspended vertically on the active magnetic bearing controller. It does not need a speed increaser and a coupling, and realizes a single-unit high-speed centrifugal blower directly driven by a high-speed motor and regulated by a frequency converter. It can effectively save energy and reduce operation and maintenance costs. The equipment is small in size, light in weight, and easy to install and operate. Low noise and no vibration during operation.
